basic dexterity

I think "ou" would be better translated as "and", since it's not one or the other.

basic nimbleness

I prefer nimbleness to dexterity. The latter word seems to me a little bit abstract.

neutral Rachel Fell : I prefer it too, but it's not really a medical term

neutral writeaway : Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack jump over the candlestick? dexterité is not the same as agilité I'd have thought /thank you so much for explaining US English to me. But this is dexterity, not agility in any case
2 hrs
In the US, nimble is used more often than dexterous. In addition, nimble includes all kinds of agility (physical, wit, savoir-faire)
disagree Jennifer White : not in this context
6 hrs
disagree B D Finch : "Nimbleness" is absolutely inappropriate for this context. Besides being quaintly old-fashioned, it would be more suitable for hopping and skipping around.

See my response to Writeaway
disagree Daryo : here the requirement is ONLY for manual dexterity not "all kinds of agility (physical, wit, savoir-faire).."

disagree AllegroTrans : manual dexterity is manual dexterity, and anyway the translator is in Canada not USA
