La recherche des revues recensées

This is database of authors, bibliographic references, and review reviews???

I thought of translating "recension" as outline, but it would appear it is more of a critical review than just an outline. So, would journal be an OK alternative for review? And therefore review for recension?

Is anyone following?

an index of / indexed reviews

taking up from CMJ, and presuming the list of reviews is alphabetical, 'index' could also be used as a verb

"recensé" means to list of to identify so...

les revues recensées are the magazines that have been listed/identified.

The noun is the act of drawing up a list of all relevant publications in a particular sector. I doubt is we would use a noun in a real English sentence in this context but you now have the pieces of the puzzle. Over to you

good idea - as usual I wanted simply to explain the reasoning and leave the person paid to do the job the task of choosing the right words in the end
