In einem touristischen Text über Brüssel und das "Zu-Wasser-Lassen" eines neuen Verkehrsmittels:
"Ce n’est pas encore gagné, mais la mise à l’eau du premier bateau-bus de la capitale (…) est un pas dans la bonne direction."
Wie würdet Ihr da "mise à l'eau" am Besten übersetzen? Mir kommt nichts Besseres als obiges Unwort in den Sinn...

Thank you SwissTell for the quick answer. Ich stand da wirklich auf dem Schlauch...Hoffe, dass Wetter ist gut in Florida. Dein Credo gefällt mir sehr! Habe selber in 7 verschiedenen Ländern gelebt und gearbeitet und erst relativ spät einen akademischen Übersetzungsabschluss gemacht. Experience is the better master, in any case. Schooling can't give you what live does, nevertheless I found it very hard to survive in Europe without a degree. That's why I decided to go and get a university degree when I was already 37 years old (which honestly wasn't easy...one just doesn't have the same memory anymore like the real youngsters).
How did you get all those KudoZ ? Incredible... Anyway thanks again and all the best to you and your family.

Asker: Danke, da hat bei mir irgendwas bei der Suche versagt. Ich war nämlich u.a. auch auf leo.org...

Asker: Ich wollte an dieser Stelle auch noch allen anderen danken, im besonderen für den Beitrag mit der "Jungfernfahrt", letztere (die Jungfern) mag ich nämlich sehr. Aber was sag' ich denn da... Und übrigens zu "ahoy" wollte ich noch sagen: "Aheu" hatten wir noch nicht :-)
