Improve Your Essential Business Skills
Workshop Series for Freelance Translators & Interpreters17 Nov 2012 - 01 Sep 2013
What are these events about?
Whether you are relatively new to this industry or you have a lot of experience, you will know that no matter how good you are at your job (translation, editing, proofreading, subtitling, interpreting etc), how successful you are also depends on many other factors.
These factors include the ability to present yourself professionally, build long term relationships with your clients, negotiate effectively, maintain and increase your productivity, make use of new technology, avoid procrastination, manage stress, deal with problems constructively and many more.
The 2 workshops (Negotiation & Communication Skills and Work|Life Balance) are a incredible opportunity to address these "other factors" in a way that will have a tremendous impact on your work and on your life.
Offering a unique insight into leading edge developments in behavioural economics & psychology, modern communication and negotiation techniques, professional and sports performance psychology and well-being disciplines, these training events bring together some of the most important skills any freelancer needs to enjoy sustainable long-term success.
