I would think the idea you want to bring across is not one of conflict, but of how something is given importance in this case.
My suggestion for a translation of this sentence would be something along the lines of:
An idea / concept about communication that does not estabilish itself based on creativity and marketing effectiveness, but instead by the actual objective and significance / meaning of the information to be brought across.
