Finally we were able to enter the 'holy halls' of the BBC, being invited into Bush House, where the BBC World Service is housed.
<br>Fouad overcame administrative hurdles, was given an attendance list and got name tags made for all of us and finally had to get each and every one of us through the security entrance.
<br>He received active help from his colleague, Gamal Monir, an excellent interpretor, and they took turns in directing attendants to the 'BBC Club' where the Powwow was held.
<br>We were 28 altogether, from all parts of the globe, and a good time was guaranteed.
<br>Constance brought her daughter, Nathalie, who mostly sat quietly reading her book for school. She can be seen in one of the photographs.
<br>At around 5pm the hungry ones went to the canteen to have some warm food at a very reasonable price.
<br>One translator, who just recently joined Proz.com, came in a wheelchair - I thought it was great that he made the effort!
<br>The next Powwow on the 23rd of June, will return to the Grafton Arms pub near Warren Street and will be organised by Katharina.
