庑殿

北魏太和十九年（公元495年），孝文帝元宏为安顿天竺僧人跋陀落迹传教而敕建少林寺。寺院南北长300米，东西宽120米，占地面积3.6公顷。常住院中轴线有山门、天王殿、大雄宝殿、藏经阁、方丈室、立雪亭、千佛殿七进建筑，阶梯升高，高差22.61米。其明清建筑多为单檐琉璃瓦，硬山、歇山、庑殿间而有之。
