Report from  Camelia Colnic
It was a really good meeting. Some of the attendees knew each other from last meeting, a few knew each other from other occasions, like doing some courses together. There were translators with years of experience, and we also had a few translators who just started this wonderful job and I think they got some good advice from the more experienced ones.

We spent wonderful time at the Holiday Inn Express bar. The food was great. We talked about ourselves, about how we got into translations, about agencies, CAT Tools, areas of expertise....
We also moved around and got the chance to talk to everybody who was present there.

People were happy that this powwow was organised and proposed to have it more often.

Hello

Is there any news on the proposed meeting in Leeds?

September 8th would be fine with me

Hello again

I meant September 7 or 8. I could probably also do the 14 or 15. However, I may not be around for the remaining weekends in September.

Would that be Sunday 8th? I can\'t do the 1st, and it\'s a bit short notice to organise anyway. Do other people have preferences?

Hi Nigel

Good idea. Second weekend of September would work for me.
Regards

Hi Nigel, I\'d be interested, provided I can get some childcare. Do you have a date in mind?
Aug 20 '13  Nigel Wheatley: Leeds Powwow anyone?
The news that one of the PMs at a nice reliable client has moved \"up north\" reminds me that we suggested having a Powwow in Leeds in September to mirror the March Powwow in Sheffield. Are people still up for this?
