Hi.

I think the idea is not to cover too much ground and not do anything really well, and I think the saying above conveys it. The whole sentence would be:

XXX cree firmemente en (or tiene una firme política de) ofrecer soluciones superiores en unas pocas disciplinas, en lugar de tratar de "saber mucho de poco y no poco de mucho".

Sorry, I got mixed up, the sentence should be as follows:

XXX cree firmemente en (or tiene una firme política de) ofrecer soluciones superiores en unas pocas disciplinas (selectas), es decir, \"saber mucho de poco y no poco de mucho\".
