Italian term

disabili

Italian to English Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation Marketing Brochure for Ski Resort
I'm looking for the most up-to-date/pc term in use in U.K. English for the term "disabili".

The text is is about a non-profit organisation's sports activities, in particular skiing. For an idea of the context:

XXX si propone come ponte per unire il mondo delle persone disabili con quello delle persone “abili”, portando questi due gruppi a contatto l’uno con l’altro proprio dove il divario è maggiore: nel mondo dello sport e del Turismo.

I've thought of differently-abled (which may be more of a U.S. English usage) and physically challenged, but I would like some input from those in the know!

Thanks in advance.

Isn't this the term used in P.E. and medicine?

There are many sites with "disabled persons", and many for "disabled people".
