Italian term
“Anche se piove o tira il vento, sempre felice io mi sento!”
Italian to English

Poetry & Literature
A rhyme from a childrens' book.
Just look for a few ideas if anyone is feeling creative...
At the moment I have "Come wind or rain, I'm happy all the same!" but there might be something snappier.
Thanks.

Comment: "I went for this one as in the context it seemed the rhyme would have to be sung, and I felt this had a nice rhythm. Thanks!"

James (Jim) Davis
: It is a truly great line, but unfortunately I don't think its right for children's book

: I think it's fine. You could leave out the "come", and it needs a comma after "shine".

: I think it sounds a bit stilted and convoluted; I agree with James here

It's a seven-word sentence consisting of two clauses, one of which is an idiom known the world over, including by children. What on earth do you mean by saying it is convoluted?

: seems perfect to me - short, to the point and easy to remember. I can already see all the little kids repeating this :)

: I think this is the best and fits the context. An alternative to the second part of the sentence could be ... 'I am/I'll be happy anyway'...

Come rain or storm I am in my best form
Even on a rainy day I feel happy anyway.
1 hr
The rain may come, the wind may blow but my happiness will never go.
Think the others were snappier.
1 hr
not even the rain or a stormy day, will stop this feeling(happiness) I feel today
neither a storm or a pouring rain will change this happines and bring(me) pain.
